LB GENETICS is an AABB Accredited facility specializing in paternity and family relationship DNA testing services. AABB Accreditation is the international gold standard for paternity testing laboratories, and is required by most courts and government agencies for acceptance of a paternity and family relationship DNA test results.
Our legally-defensible DNA paternity tests and family relationship tests are accepted and admissible as evidence by Superior Courts of California and nationwide.

About Dr. John Taddie, PhD, Director
John Taddie, PhD is the Director of LB GENETICS. Dr. Taddie has over 20 years of experience in DNA testing and he has supervised over 150,000 paternity tests. He has testified as a DNA paternity testing expert in over 50 California civil and criminal court trials involving child support, child custody, estate claims, welfare fraud, immigration, sexual assault and homicide. Dr. Taddie is an AABB member and served on the AABB Relationship Testing Standards Program Unit, the team of experts that establishes the internationally accepted AABB Standards for Relationship Testing Laboratories. He received his B.S. in Microbiology from Penn State University and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Cornell University.
Dr. Taddie has presented lectures on DNA identification and paternity testing for the USC School of Medicine, UCI Medical Center, Cal State University, the American Red Cross, the Orange County Clinical Laboratory Management Association, and the California Welfare Fraud Investigators Association.
He has also provided training on DNA testing for numerous legal organizations, including the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the West Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Paralegal Association, and Legal Secretaries Incorporated, as well as for attorneys and staff of over 100 government child support agencies throughout California and the United States.
