Dr. Taddie is a current member of AABB and a former appointed member of the AABB Relationship Testing Standards Program Unit, the team of experts that establishes AABB's internationally accepted Standards for Relationship Testing Laboratories. In this capacity, he was a contributing writer to the 6th and 7th Editions of the AABB's Standards for Relationship Testing Laboratories. Dr. Taddie received his B.S. in Microbiology from Penn State University, obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Cornell University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Salk Institute.
Dr. Taddie presents lectures on DNA testing to legal groups, medical associations, and government agencies throughout Southern California. He has been a guest lecturer for USC School of Medicine, UC Irvine Medical Center, California State University, the American Red Cross, the Orange County Clinical Laboratory Management Association, and the California Welfare Fraud Investigators Association. He has been an invited speaker and educator for the Department of Child Support Services in over 40 California Counties, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties, and he has provided Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) on DNA testing to these and other legal organizations, including the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the South Bay Bar Association, the West Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Paralegal Association, and Legal Secretaries Incorporated.
Since 1997, Dr. Taddie has been helping clients resolve diverse, unique, and complex family relationship questions through DNA testing.
